Old wounds should've healed ages ago but never did.

In life, we learn a lot of lessons. What matters the most is, you learn something after each lesson, you get stronger, and you know what to avoid in the future. But that's not true, is it? Sometimes, we just make the same mistake over and over again, cry over the same thing over and over again. Why? I realize, it's because we have to learn the same lesson over and over again until you finally get it. And that's when it hurts the most.
